Exclusion Area- Pick Feature

This configuration window allows users to set a boundary for excluding this alarm and is accessible on the Alarms Tab > Add Alarm > Speed Alarms.

 

          

 

Pick Feature

Use this tool to select an already-drawn boundary from the content of the map currently opened in Think GIS. When the tool is activated, users will be guided to select the layer with the desired feature that defines the boundary to be used, such as Police Zones. Select the desired feature, and then click OK. Once the alarm is created, a copy of the boundary geometry is automatically copied to the server, so it is not necessary that a copy of this layer exist on the AVL Server.

 

        

 

If the selected boundary geometry is too complex for the AVL Service to handle, the following pop-up will appear:
