Notes:
•Special Condition 1 - Post Midnight: If specified both a time of day, and day of week filter then consider this special rule intended to remove any ambiguity. Any time of day that starts during a valid day of the week will continue to be valid through the remainder of the time of day period even if that period crosses over into the next day. Example: An alarm is desired to apply on Friday and Saturday night between 9pm and 2am. Setup a time of day filter of 21:00 to 02:00 and check only Fri and Sat in the day of week section. After midnight on Saturday the alarm will continue to apply until 2am even though it is now Sunday because the time-of-day period started on Saturday.
•Special Condition 2 - Long Timers: Some types of alarms use timers to keep track of things like unresponsive time, inactivity time, etc. Keep in mind that all alarm timers reset whenever the time of day or day of week goes out of scope. For example, setting up an inactivity alarm to trigger whenever 24hrs elapse with no AVL activity in some region of the agency's jurisdiction, and for this same alarm also specify that the alarm only applies from 8am to 4pm, then the alarm will never occur because at 8am every morning the inactivity timer will reset because it had went out of scope. In this case, either remove the time of day filter or specify an inactivity period of 7.5 hrs.
