Draw Land Hook

 

 

 

Use this button to draw a land hook on the map. A land hook is a single line segment with a hook on both ends commonly used to visually indicate that two areas on either side of a barrier belong to the same parcel.

 

To draw a land hook on the map

1) Specify a Current Layer and Current Feature on the edit tool bar.

2) Click the  button on the Editing Toolbar.

3) Left click at the location of each end of the line segment.

 

Notes:

Tool use instructions will also appear in the footer of the Think GIS window in the Instructional Bar.
