To delete a feature
1) Using the Current Feature pull down list select the feature to delete.
2) click the  button on the Editing Toolbar (or Ctrl-Shift-B).
Notes:
•When deleting a feature, it is removed from the feature list and any child entities representing it on the map will be deleted.
•Users can also delete a feature by double clicking it on the map and then selecting Delete Feature from the Feature's Tool Menu.
•Features on locked layers can also be deleted using the Del button on the Index window.
•Users can also delete all features matching a certain criteria by selecting the "Delete Features" option on the Search Results window.
