Hide Leading Zeros in Short Labels

In the interest of minimizing clutter it is sometimes desirable to chop of leading zeros when labeling a numeric value on the map display. With this box checked, any leading zeros will still be displayed on the feature form, in the index, and all other places except labels on the map (ie. short labels)

For example, Lets say a parcel number field and split number field have the values "007" and "001" respectively and the short label format for this layer specifies that these two fields are used for labeling with a dash between them. If the hide leading zeros box is checked for both of these fields then the label on the map will read "7-1" as opposed to "007-001".
