If the text Field Type is selected, then specify the character limit for the field in the Field Length parameter. This is the maximum number of characters that can be typed into this field.
Field lengths of 40 or greater will be represented on forms as multi-line memo fields where shorter field lengths will use single line edit fields.
All fields together can have a combined field length of up to 4096. When a field type other than text is selected this box will indicate the storage size for that particular field type.
