Use this item, located on the Tools Menu > Import/Export Menu, to export all feature text for a specified layer. This process does not export any geometry.
1) From the main menu select Tools - Import/Export - Export to Text File.
2) Select a layer to export.
3) Answer the question "Do you want to include Feature statistics and Totals?"
oIf Yes, then the length and area of each Feature will also be calculated and listed including a total for all features combined.
A comma delimited list is written to a text file named "export.txt" and is displayed in the Windows Notepad. This file can also be imported into most spreadsheet or database programs.
This same export routine is available from the Index screen.
Notes:
•Layers may be searched for by name in the Select Layers to Export window.
