Use this tool to generate a list of Features that are located within a certain distance of a given Feature.
To List Features close to another Feature:
1) From the Lookup menu select List Features Within an Area - Specify a Distance from a Feature.

2) Select the base Feature to measure from. This can be any Feature on any Layer that is represented on the map as a point, polyline, area, or any other type of entities.

3) Enter maximum distance to query.
4) Select a layer to search from the list that appears.
5) A search results window will appear like the one below listing all of the Features on the selected layer that are located within the specified distance of the base Feature.
