Feature List

The Feature list displays an alphabetical listing of every Feature on the currently selected layer.

Each row lists all of the information associated with an individual Feature.

Each layer can be formatted differently with its own set up fields (or columns).

Type the first few letters matching any Feature's primary sort field value and the Feature list will automatically scroll to that Feature.

The PgUp, PgDn, Home, End, arrow keys, and mouse scroll wheel can also be used to navigate the list.

An asterisk (*) in the first column next to a Feature indicates that there are no Entities drawn on the map representing this Feature.

An exclamation point (!) in the first column indicates that this feature has links.

To select more than one feature, hold down the ctrl key while clicking on other feature rows.

To enlarge the list (more visible rows and columns) drag the lower right corner of the index window down and to the right.

See Database Errors for a description of error messages like "-DB Err 8-".

Highlight one or more rows and use Ctrl-C to copy contents to the clipboard.

Columns may be sorted by clicking on the filed name at the top. One click will order a column from A-Z/Low-to-High, clicking again will order it from Z-A/High-to-Low.

The first column with no field name at the top may contain data. Clicking at the top of this column will sort by that data, if it exists in the layer.

o!=Feature contains Feature Link(s).

o*=Feature does not have an entity on the map.
