Use this button to insert a legend onto the page. By default the legend automatically lists the layers that are drawn in the main map window. But the Graphic Properties window in the lower left corner of page has an option where users can specifically list which layers are to be displayed. If a layer is classified, only those classifications that are visible in the current view are listed.
Multiple legends may be placed, simply by clicking on the legend button again.
