Store and Forward refers to a mode of operation where GPS locations are stored and then later forwarded to the AVL server. The server can receive stored locations from AVL Client for Windows computers and Traccar Client app for phones. Some modems support this feature, as well. For additional information and help determining if hardware/software supports this feature, contact WTH support.
If internet access is not available, the software can record GPS locations. When internet access is restored, the stored data will be sent to the server and live tracking of the vehicle will resume automatically. This stored data will be available for history reports the day after the data is sent to the server.
