Use this tool, located on Tools Menu > Show Map Editing Tools > Advanced Tools > Cleanup and Conversion Tools, to separate each entity out into its own feature. A single feature having 3 polyline entities, for example, becomes 3 duplicate features having one entity each.
To explode features
1) Select this menu item from the  menu.
2) Select a layer to explode. All features on this layer will be exploded.
Note:
•Earlier versions of Think GIS sometimes incorrectly combined some non-overlapping regions into the same area entity. The Explode Features tool will also correct this anomaly.
