Use this field type to store date and time in a single field. Values are displayed as mm/dd/yyyy hh:nn:ss (default) OR yyyy/mm/dd hh:nn:ss. DateTime fields are displayed on Feature forms with a button next to each for selecting a date and time from a calendar.

DateTime has the following Options:

1)Auto Fill new records w/ current date and time

a)Defaults to checked

2)Required Field

a)Will prompt users to fill in the field before closing the feature form

b)Can not be used with Auto update after feature change. Automatically unchecks when Auto update after feature change is checked.

c)Editing from the Index search is possible by using “Set field value for selected Features”. It will pop up a calendar similar to editing from the feature form.

3)Auto update after feature change

a)Will update anytime a change is made on the feature form or a change is made to the feature geometry

b)Will not update if cancel is selected on the feature form.

c)Can not be used with Required Field. Automatically unchecks when the Required Field is checked

d)Editing from the Index is not possible.

4)DateTime Display Format

a)mm/dd/yyyy hh:nn:ss

i)This is the default option.

b)yyyy/mm/dd hh:nn:ss
