Calculated Coordinates

This field type displays the coordinates of the centroid of this feature. These coordinates are automatically calculated each time the value is displayed. When selected, this field type displays a pull down list where specific coordinates may be selected.

Decimal Degrees: W 87.504167, N 40.758333

Decimal Minutes: W 87 30.250', N 40 45.500'

Decimal Degrees: W 87 30' 15.0", N 40 45' 30.0"

Native Coordinates: Displays coordinates in same Projection and Units native to map. See Map Settings to identify the projection used by this map.

USNG: Displays coordinates in US National Grid formatting.

1) Enter a short, descriptive Field Name.

2) Select the Calculated Coordinates option for the Field Type.

3) Select the unit of coordinates in the Units drop down menu.

4) Once all parameters are configured, click OK.

5) The Calculated Coordinates will now display in the field.
