Like the Auto Fill checkbox described above, this property also pre-fills a field on the otherwise blank new feature form. But instead of bringing forward the previous value as-is it increments the value by the amount specified. The value may be overwritten by just typing over it.
To assign an incrementing unique id to every feature, use the auto number field type.
