Find Intersection

Note: The new Search Box located on the main Think GIS toolbar can be used to locate intersections making this older Find Intersection screen somewhat obsolete.

Select Find Intersection from the Lookup menu to locate the intersection of any two features on the map. This is typically used to find the intersection of two streets but the intersection of any two features such as a creek and a railroad can be located just as easily.

To find an Intersection:

1) Select Find Intersection from the Lookup menu.

2) The map index window will appear.

3) Select a layer from the list on the left.

4) Scroll to the street or other Feature in the list on the right.

5) Click the Next button.

6) Scroll to the second street in the Feature List and click Locate.
